Mark is a leader in the customer experience and product design world. He currently heads Panera Bread’s Digital Experience Design Group. His mission is to deliver speed and joy to every customer in every interaction. He’s a passionate believer in the power of great cross disciplinary teams to craft products and services which elevate the human condition and drive market performance. Previously, as Head of Experience Design for SapientNitro’s Boston office, Mark led, inspired and managed 30+ members of the edesign studio setting the vision for client such as CVS, L.L. Bean, Keurig, The Boston Globe, CNN, Wall Street Journal, Voya, TIAA Cref, The Hartford and Staples. Mark helped the team craft human-centered, compelling experiences that influence behavior and add value to people’s lives. He is uniquely positioned for his role given his deep roots and expertise in both design and strategy. As an additional outlet for his passion around design thinking, Mark writes, instructs and speaks on customer engagement.
